Traveling day - Bergen to Oslo, Oslo to Stockholm and Stockholm to Järna

Well we rode the train from Bergen to Oslo...and it was beautiful.

Hannah waiting to catch her very first train.

On the train. It was a very pleasant trip. We went through many tunnels and every time you came out of the tunnel there was another spectacular view of little towns, the fjords, the river, snow covered mountains, etc. We tried to catch images on our cameras but as we were moving so fast we often missed the picture we were trying to capture, sometimes even taking a picture of inside the tunnel. Here are some that will give you a small taste of the views.

When we arrived in Oslo we then took a train to the airport and a flight to Stockholm. From there we quickly had to catch the last trains out to Järna. As you can see this is a 22:43 train and it is still lightish outside.

We arrived in Järna just after midnight and Ani came to pick us up! It is so wonderful to see her here in Sweden where she has spent the last two years as a Program Coordinator of YIP. For those who do not know, Ani and I have known each other since Kindergarten and it is always so wonderful seeing childhood friends.
