Last Day of our Travels - minus the next 30 hours of getting back home

Well, today is our last day of, not only being in London but also, our whole Europe trip.

In the morning we headed out to the Science Museum and continued on to the Natural History Museum. Here are some miscellaneous pictures of our day.

For our last night out in London, we went to a show. We saw Oliver and it was just fabulous! We had a great time.

That's all for now folks! We will post one more time after we make it back to Texas. Love y'all!

London, England - Day 2: Still standing

We started our day at Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guard.

For the rest of the day we continued checking out the sites of London visiting the London Eye, Big Ben, West Minister Abbey and Tate Britain.

Hannah could not resist purchasing a large pencil from the Tate British museum and was quite proud of it. She asked the cashier if it came with a pencil sharper but alas it did not but a large knife would do, therefore Colin's gift was decided. She kept wondering who could use this pencil...the hulk, the iron giant, etc. We then came upon another, larger pencil...and her pencil no longer seemed as giant.

We have been traveling on the tube throughout our days. So here is Hannah, master of the tube.

In the early evening we walked over to Hyde Park and enjoyed the great outdoors away from the busy, crowded down town. The animals, pigeons and squirrels, were very tame probably because they are feed by people constantly. Below is a "bird lady" and a Peter Pan statue.

Our London home. Extremely basic but has everything we need.

London, England - Day 1: Ready, Set, GO!

We have made it to London. It is interesting being back in an English speaking country. We arrived here bright and early in the morning and quickly figured out the tube. After finding our hotel and dropping off our luggage we hit the ground running.

After eating some lunch in a nearby park, our first stop was the British Museum.

Next we headed over to St. Paul's Cathedral.

As we have completely run out of money, I put Hannah and her skills to work...

We then did a lot of walking and saw Shakespeare's Globe Theater, my favorite church here, Tate Modern, London Bridge,...before we headed back.

To wrap up the day we had some good ol' Fish and Chips. We thought about taking the picture after we had done some damage.

Last day in Stuttgart, Germany

This morning we went to the Rittersport museum! It is delicious chocolate that is made just outside Stuttgart.

There was also a small art museum which was interesting. The first pieces are seeking perfection through the Golden Ratio and music. The other pieces were all unique perspective pieces.

As many of you know, part of this trip was to see the RSC Eurythmy graduates performing here in Stuttgart. I was able to see everyone and they put on a lovely performance. Here are pictures of them warming up and my walk into town.

As many of you know, or perhaps not, the World Cup is going on and Fußball (soccer) is a big deal around here. I come upon the Portugal v Brazil game while walking around so I stopped to watch. The energy is just crazy at these viewings! Of course I was not able to capture it in my pictures.

Dagmar, Emilia and Annika took Hannah and me to the airport early this morning for our flight to London.

Thank you so much Mosthaf family!!! We had a wonderful time and cannot even express our appreciation.

P.S.
