We began our day attending a service at the Stavanger Cathedral.. It was interesting and I enjoyed trying to follow the Norwegian program and sing their hymns. After the service we had a meal provided for everyone before we headed to the Cultural School.
At the Cultural School we were given a tour of their school and were able to watch one of the dance classes practice. It was a mix of modern, ballet and hip hop all in the same dance. I tried posted the video but do not know how. Hannah and I then got a break while the ballet, dance and singing groups practised so we played some cards. When everyone was done we made our way to the performance stage and watched the dress rehearsal. The performance was the opening ceremony for "Texas days". Both Texas and Stavanger performed song, dance, ballet and theatre. Below is Ava performing!
After the show Hannah and I walked home a new route and watch a family of swans and also went through a peaceful grove of trees. Along the way we found a see-saw which Hannah loved!
